What are t-blood cells? What do they do? How many types are there?
T cells are white blood cells that are formed in the lymphatic system and are apart of the third line of defence. These cells mature in the thymus after having differentiated into a T-lymphocyte from a lymphocyte (white blood cell). After maturing in the thymus; the t-cell differentiate further into one of four varieties of T-cells. Tc cells, Th cells, Tm cells and Ts cells. These four types of cells and their role in the immune system is listed below.
